Our Founder

Gabrielle Wongbe founded Creating A Path as a high school student with a simple goal: to help under-resourced teens gain access to the career exposure and professional development opportunities they deserve.

 

Now a student at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Political Science on a pre-law track, Gabrielle continues to lead Creating A Path with a deep commitment to education equity, community empowerment, and expanding opportunities for youth in her community.

​Through Creating A Path, Gabrielle hopes to help students see that opportunity should not be determined by zip code, income, or access to networks. Her work is rooted in the belief that when young people are exposed to possibility early, they are better equipped to create the futures they deserve.
